Mitchells driving school now provides Intensive driving lessons in Tameside.
Intensive driving courses, often referred to as a crash course, are ideal for those people who wish to learn to drive quickly. It may be because of new employment or attending university etc.
All our intensive driving lessons are tailored to suit your individual needs e.g. 2 hours per day, 4 hours per day, 6 hours per day etc. and can be spread over a few day's to a few weeks.
If the intensive driving lesson's are for more than 2 hours at a time, comfort, tea, lunch breaks etc. will be built in.
It is of benefit if the practical driving test is taken at the end of the driving course or very shortly afterwards. It is advisable therefore, to have already taken and passed the Driving Theory Test prior to booking your intensive driving lessons.

The Comprehensive New Learner Course.(40 hours)
This course caters for the learner with no previous experience, and is designed to offer the complete syllabus for learning to drive and reaching suitable driving test standard (subject to progress of learner). Hours can be arranged over 2 to 4 weeks, however we would recommend allowing a minimum of 4 weeks to comfortably prepare for your driving test.
Semi-intensive Driving Course.(30 hours)
The 5 Day Course.
This is normally arranged at 6 hours per day with an added one hour lunch break to regain concentration.
The 10 Day Course.
This is normally arranged at 3 hours per day. The 10 day course is particularly recommended for learners of limited or basic experience as the daily hours of learning are less, allowing you additional time to absorb the information.
Midway Pass Course.(20 hours)
Hours are arranged at 4 hours per day over 5 days, totaling 20 hours of tuition with an additional half hour being added each day to allow for a break during each 4 hour session to regain concentration. Daily starting times can be arranged to suit. This course is suitable for a learner driver of an intermediate standard.
Driving Test Booster Course.(15 hours)
For those who are nearing test standard and who just need a short burst of lessons prior to the test we have the Test Booster Course. It is also ideal for those who have had an attempt at the test some time ago but haven’t had any lessons since.
Driving Test Course.(10 hours)
For those who are at test standard and who just need a short burst of lessons prior to the test. It is also ideal for those who have already had an attempt at the test.
One Day Test Course. (Hours to suit)
One day retest courses for someone who has recently failed a test.

A deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, balance payable three weeks before the start of your course.
An additional £62.00 is included in the price for your driving test (or £75 for weekend test).
Use of car on test (where test is taken) is included as the final hour of your course.
The courses are charged at our normal rates.

Your instructor must be satisfied that you have reached the standard required by the Driving Standards Agency (DSA) before allowing you to take your test with Mitchells Driving School.
